These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of Jigsaw Diorama, including its online services, multiplayer features, custom puzzle features, and related websites or services operated by Base Metal Games Inc. ("Base Metal Games," "we," "us," or "our").

By playing Jigsaw Diorama or using its online features, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Game

You may use Jigsaw Diorama for personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and any applicable platform terms, including Steam's terms.

You are responsible for your own account, device, internet connection, and any activity that occurs through your account.

2. Online Features

Jigsaw Diorama may include online features such as multiplayer, cloud saves, player accounts, custom puzzles, achievements, lobbies, and other networked services.

Online features may change, become unavailable, or be discontinued. We will try to keep services reliable, but we do not guarantee that online features will always be available or error-free.

3. Player Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other players.
• Upload or share illegal, offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, invasive, or infringing content.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, interfere with multiplayer sessions, or disrupt services.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, attack, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the game or related services.
• Use the game or services for unlawful purposes.

We may restrict access to online features if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

4. Custom Puzzle Content

If you upload or create custom puzzle content, you keep whatever rights you already have in that content.

By uploading or using custom puzzle content in Jigsaw Diorama, you give Base Metal Games permission to store, copy, process, transmit, display, and use that content as needed to provide the game's features.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use any content you upload. Do not upload copyrighted images, personal photos, private information, or other content unless you have the rights and permission to do so.

We may remove or restrict custom content if we believe it violates these Terms, infringes rights, creates legal risk, or causes technical or safety problems.

5. Ownership

Jigsaw Diorama, including its code, artwork, design, audio, text, branding, and other game content, is owned by Base Metal Games or its licensors.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of the game or any Base Metal Games intellectual property to you.

6. Purchases and Refunds

Purchases, refunds, and payment processing are handled by the platform where you bought the game, such as Steam. Please refer to that platform's purchase and refund policies.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you play Jigsaw Diorama or use related services.

8. Disclaimers

Jigsaw Diorama is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the game or online services will be uninterrupted, secure, compatible with every system, or free of bugs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Base Metal Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the game or services.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable there, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
